Will Not Vote For Incumbants Who Support Sewer Fee Increase!
Dear Mayor Adams, Vice Mayor Hamilton and City Councilors:
I will not be voting in the upcoming election for any incumbent who approves the “Notice of Intention” to raise wastewater rates.
As you know, a large number of Sedona property owners, businesses, and retirees on fixed incomes are rotting financially. So, why are every one of CDM’s vampire Wastewater Rate Study’s...
Letter to City Government: No! to Sewer Rate Increase

Background: 1. Our area (Harmony Hills) was among the first selected for sewer installation in 1993.
The hook up fees back then cost...
Open Letter to Council on Sewer Fee Increase
Dear Council Members,
I am concerned about there being a dramatic increase in sewer fees over the next few years – double to triple the fees in comparable communities. However, I also realize our Wasterwater Enterprise Fund is drastically short-funded, and could be depleted by October 2013.
May I make a few suggestions?
· Since only 44% of the city’s budget is funded by sales tax, and since residents...

The clear skies, moderate climate, and spectacular scenery attract tourists in droves, and the towns of Sedona and Oak Creek provide full-time homes for about 15,000 people.
Will these communities continue to thrive when changes in global climate lead to changes...

We’re Cancelling the Green Revolution
Depending on our response, we are either standing at the edge of the mother of all markets or we are staring at the mother of all problems. John Gardner, founder of Common Cause, described these challenges as “a series of opportunities disguised as insolvable problems.” Three decades of failed energy policy assures us that innovation is the only way out of this crisis. And yet, a not so funny...
